National debt fell in Sweden

In 2019 Sweden public debt was 171,979 million euros186,294 million dollars, has decreased 14,34329,822 million since 2018.

This amount means that the debt in 2019 reached 35.6% of Sweden GDP, a 4 percentage point fall from 2018, when it was 39.6% of GDP.

If we check the tables we can see the evolution of Sweden debt. It has risen since 2009 in global debt terms, when it was 132,748 million euros 177,841 million dollars although it has fallen as a percentage of GDP, when it amounted to 40.7%.

According to the last data point published, Sweden per capita debt in 2019 was 16,652 euros18,038 dollars per inhabitant. In 2018 it was 18,213 euros 21,125 dollars, afterwards dropping by 1,561 euros 3,087dollars, and if we again check 2009 we can see that then the debt per person was 14,212 euros19,039 dollars .
