In 2016 Croatia public debt was 37,576 million euros41,736 million dollars, has increased 4130 million since 2015.
This amount means that the debt in 2016 reached 79.1% of Croatia GDP, a 3.7 percentage point fall from 2015, when it was 82.8% of GDP.

In 2015 it was 8,957 euros 9,966 dollars, afterwards rising by 88 euros81 dollars, and if we again check 2006 we can see that then the debt per person was 3,601 euros4,531 dollars .
The position of Croatia, as compared with the rest of the world, has improved in 2016 in terms of GDP percentage. Currently it is country number 156 in the list of debt to GDP and 153 in debt per capita, out of the 191 we publish.
