Brazil: CPI goes up in May of 2018

The annual variation rate of the CPI in Brazil in May of 2018 was 1.8%, 1 tenth higher than the month before.The monthly variation rate of the CPI (Consumer Price Index) has been 0.4%, and thus the accumulated inflation in 2018 is 1.1%

We must highlight the increase of 1% in the prices of Housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels, until its interannual rate reached 4.2%, which is in contrast to the decrease in the prices of Furniture, household equipment and maintenance of -0.1%, and an interannual variation of -0.6%.
