Lebanon has a low suicide rate compared to other countries.
Of the 122 recorded suicide cases in 2010, 80 were men suicides and 43 were women. So that, the suicide rate among males were 3.21 per 100,000 men and for women 1.7 per 100,000 female.
Suicide is a very important cause of death in the world and also in Lebanon. However, in Lebanon in 2010 there were there were 163 homicides, then, homicides are more common than suicides. There were 1.3 homicides per suicide.
