Suicides increase in Iraq

In 2010 occurred 809 suicides in Iraq. This year, 37 more people committed suicide than in 2009. On average, there are 2 suicides per day.

Iraq had 2.61 suicides per 100,000 inhabitants, much less than the average suicide in the world, of 9.89 self-harm per 100.000 people.
