In 2011 occurred 1,604 suicides in Cuba. This year, 43 fewer people committed suicide than in 2010. In 2011, on average 4 Cubans committed suicide every day.

Of the 1,604 recorded suicide cases in 2011, 1,271 were men suicides and 333 were women. So that, the suicide rate among males were 22.54 per 100,000 men and for women 5.88 per 100,000 female.
