Trinidadians CPI goes down to 1.7%

The annual variation rate of the CPI in Trinidad and Tobago in May of 2017 was 1.7%, 1 tenth less than the month before.The monthly variation rate of the CPI (Consumer Price Index) has been -0.1%, and thus the accumulated inflation in 2017 is 0.3%

We must highlight the increase of 0.3% in the prices of Alcoholic beverages and tobacco, until its interannual rate reached 5.7%, which is in contrast to the decrease in the prices of Clothing and footwear of -0.4%, and an interannual variation of 2.1%.
