Iran: CPI goes up in May of 2022

The annual variation rate of the CPI in Iran in May of 2022 was 39.3%, 37 tenths higher than the month before.The monthly variation rate of the CPI (Consumer Price Index) has been 3.5%, and thus the accumulated inflation in 2022 is 13.3%

We must highlight the increase of 6.7% in the prices of Restaurants and hotels, until its interannual rate reached 61%, which is in contrast to the decrease in the prices of Education of 0.5%, and an interannual variation of 27.5%.
