CPI falls in May of 2020 in China

The annual variation rate of the CPI in China in May of 2020 was 2.4%, 9 tenths less than the month before.The monthly variation rate of the CPI (Consumer Price Index) has been -0.8%, and thus the accumulated inflation in 2020 is 4.1%

We must highlight the increase of 0.5% in the prices of Housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels, until its interannual rate reached 5.3%, which is in contrast to the decrease in the prices of Food and non-alcoholic beverages of -2.4%, and an interannual variation of 8.5%.
