In January, vehicle registrations in United Kingdom grew by 16.08% with respect to January of 2021. In total, 136,233 cars were registered and 2,065,898 new cars were sold in the last twelve months, 8.48% more than the year before.
The breakdown of car sales figures for the month of January is:
- Commercial vehicles sold: 21,146, 22.01% less than in January of 2021.
- Passenger cars regitrations: 115,087, which represents a figure of 27.52% more than in January of 2021.
