In July, vehicle registrations in United Kingdom fell by 9.34% with respect to July of 2016. In total, 187,215 cars were registered and 3,054,154 new cars were sold in the last twelve months, 1.84% less than the year before.
The breakdown of car sales figures for the month of July is:
- Commercial vehicles sold: 25,218, 9.87% less than in July of 2016.
- Passenger cars regitrations: 161,997, which represents a figure of 9.26% less than in July of 2016.
