In May, vehicle registrations in United Kingdom fell by 9.61% with respect to May of 2016. In total, 213,800 cars were registered and 3,089,279 new cars were sold in the last twelve months, 0.78% less than the year before.
The breakdown of car sales figures for the month of May is:
- Commercial vehicles sold: 27,535, 16.45% less than in May of 2016.
- Passenger cars regitrations: 186,265, which represents a figure of 8.51% less than in May of 2016.
