In December, vehicle registrations in United Kingdom fell by 2.55% with respect to December of 2015. In total, 210,167 cars were registered and 3,122,452 new cars were sold in the last twelve months, 1.99% more than the year before.
The breakdown of car sales figures for the month of December is:
- Commercial vehicles sold: 32,145, 9.65% less than in December of 2015.
- Passenger cars regitrations: 178,022, which represents a figure of 1.14% less than in December of 2015.
