In 2014 Guyana public debt was 1,186 million euros 1,576 million dollars, has decreased 102 135 million since 2013.
This amount means that the debt in 2014 reached 51.21% of Guyana GDP, a 6.02 percentage point fall from 2013, when it was 57.23% of GDP.

According to the last data point published, Guyana per capita debt in 2014 was 1,553 euros2,063 dollars per inhabitant. In 2013 it was 1,693 euros 2,249 dollars, afterwards dropping by 140 euros 186dollars, and if we again check 2004 we can see that then the debt per person was 1,620 euros2,014 dollars .
The position of Guyana, as compared with the rest of the world, has improved in 2014 in terms of GDP percentage. Currently it is country number 101 in the list of debt to GDP and 84 in debt per capita, out of the 184 we publish.
