In 2015 Fiji public debt was 1,914 million euros 2,123 million dollars, has increased 28640 million since 2014.
This amount means that the debt in 2015 reached 48.36% of Fiji GDP, a 0.04 percentage point fall from 2014, when it was 48.4% of GDP.
If we check the tables we can see the evolution of Fiji debt. It has risen since 2005 in global debt terms, when it was 1,150 million euros 1,431 million dollars and also in terms of GDP percentage, when it amounted to 47.65%.
According to the last data point published, Fiji per capita debt in 2015 was 2,145 euros2,380 dollars per inhabitant. In 2014 it was 1,838 euros 2,441 dollars, afterwards rising by 307 euros61 dollars, and if we again check 2005 we can see that then the debt per person was 1,400 euros1,743 dollars .
The position of Fiji, as compared with the rest of the world, has improved in 2015 in terms of GDP percentage. Currently it is country number 96 in the list of debt to GDP and 98 in debt per capita, out of the 185 we publish.
