In 2015 Algeria public debt was 13,623 million euros 15,114 million dollars, has increased 8401,868 million since 2014.
This amount means that the debt in 2015 reached 9.06% of Algeria GDP, a 1.1 percentage point rise from 2014, when it was 7.96% of GDP.
If we check the tables we can see the evolution of Algeria debt. It has gone down since 2005 in global debt terms, when it was 21,825 million euros 27,152 million dollars , and also in terms of GDP percentage, when it amounted to 26.35%.
According to the last data point published, Algeria per capita debt in 2015 was 341 euros378 dollars per inhabitant. In 2014 it was 327 euros 434 dollars, afterwards rising by 14 euros56 dollars, and if we again check 2005 we can see that then the debt per person was 664 euros828 dollars .
The position of Algeria, as compared with the rest of the world, has worsened in 2015 in terms of GDP percentage. Currently it is country number 9 in the list of debt to GDP and 33 in debt per capita, out of the 184 we publish.
