CO2 emissions, in Bosnia and Herzegovina in 2021, have fallen 7.184 megatons, 31.85% compared to 2020.
CO2 emissions in 2021 were 15.37 megatons, making Bosnia and Herzegovina is the 92th conutry in the ranking of countries for CO2 emissions, made up of 184 countries, in which the countries are ranked from least to most pollutant.
In addition to its total emissions of CO2 into the atmospher, which logically depend, among other variables, on the country's population, it is convenient to analyze the behavior of its emissions per inhabitant. In the table we see that per capita CO2 emissions in Bosnia and Herzegovina, have decreased in 2021, in which they have been 4.4 tons per inhabitant.
If you look at evolution f CO2 emissions per 1000 dollars of GDP, which measures, for the same country, the "environmental efficiency" with which it is produced over time. In the last period, Bosnia and Herzegovina, has emitted 0.3 kilos for every $ 1,000 of GDP, a lower figure than in 2020.
