The annual variation rate of the CPI in Türkiye in August of 2016 was 8.1%, 7 tenths less than the month before.The monthly variation rate of the CPI (Consumer Price Index) has been -0.3%, and thus the accumulated inflation in 2016 is 4.5%

We must highlight the increase of 3.4% in the prices of Alcoholic beverages and tobacco, until its interannual rate reached 23%, which is in contrast to the decrease in the prices of Clothing and footwear of -4.7%, and an interannual variation of 7.8%.
